Xiaomi.eu v8.2.3.0.MALCNDL is out! Also, same version of MIUI v8.2 China Stable is out of beta and is listed as the official current release for Redmi 3S/3X. Has anyone installed it yet? I'll try it out later today. If you did update, please share your findings!

Hi all, at last, MIUI 8.2 China Stable Version V8.2.3.0.MALCNDL for Redmi 3S/Prime/3X has been released, although in beta status for the time being. It's a matter of time now for the Stable (non-beta) release, and thanks to the hard work of our devs here, also the xiaomi.eu version :-)

Hi all, TWRP 3.1.0-1 has been released and is available for download. Are there any compelling reasons for upgrading at this time? By looking at the changelog, I don't think there is any hurry for upgrading right now. Also, is this version compatible with xiaomi.eu 8.2.1.0 Stable? Thanks,

Yep, it's officially listed as the current China Stable version on en.miui.com. It sure took a while!

It looks like people have done it using either methods. I did it from TWRP successfully.

My mail sync is working fine in 8.2.1.0, I use only Gmail app for a gmail and an Exchange account.

It's not a weekly dev version, but it's based on Android N. What I meant to say is that it seems to be a problem associated with the Android version (regardless of weekly or stable ROM).

On en.miui.com, there are several reports of people getting China stable 8.2.1.0, and one guy even posted the link for the full OTA, so there's the source for this release, even though it hasn't been officially announced on their forum. Perhaps it's being treated as a beta for the time being...

It's always recommended to at least wipe cache/dalvik after a new ROM flash. You can do it even now from TWRP.

I think the "Bootloader unlock" symbol at boot is a good thing, a security measure. Of course, since you probably unlocked your bootloader and flashed a new ROM into it yourself, you don't need to be reminded of the bootloader status every time you reboot, but imagine you buy a used device, or...

Hi Anton77, no, I didn't find that problem. So the install failed and you were left on your previous version? Which ROM do you have? Also, did you verify the integrity of your downloaded file by checking the MD5 hash?

Just updated as well... So far so good! No problems whatsoever. After a day or two I'll report back with what I can find (battery life, performance, etc.).

Please, any of the people who updated, give us details! GPS and cellular connectivity working OK? Any glitches or bugs you found? Also, did you wipe data?
