I think I've read in the last rom's thread that users with 2014817 could no longer update with package 2014811, because TWRP could distinguish their devices and does not allow it; And because here they don't make ROMs for that version, you are unable to use ROMs from here, from now on. Enviado...

Yours is a slighly different problem: The previous guys had the rom for the right device, but the identification showed wrong device; You seem to have the rom for the wrong device AND the identification of the device is wrong too. Enviado do meu Redmi 2 (2014813)

Thanks for that clarification about OTA updates, it was needed because of all the question about it posted... And in my view, you're right, I like OTA and I don't mind updating only once every month. Would like you to clarify just one more thing - is there one particular period of the month...

I don't know since when, but I noticed that we can't select anymore the size of download to wait for wifi (in download app, 3 dot option)... I had a small option selected, and now wanted to increase it. Anyone knows if there's no more limits, or if I'll be stuck with the limit I had...

If it's like on my phone, it never did. All it does is disallow the slide to unlock. You can try it by covering the light sensor, turn on screen, and try to slide - it won't allow and will tell you to uncover that area. Enviado do meu Redmi 2 (2014813)
