Yes man. I did face it recently. 1. Fix BaseBand first at http://en.miui.com/thread-429027-1-1.html 2. Fix IMEI at http://en.miui.com/thread-428917-1-1.html Read the instructions carefully and ensure that all MTK driver installed properly.

You just need to do a Full ROM back up from TWPR then try the custom Rom. Revert to your back-uped ROM anytime that you like. Cheers/

It is a good nowsbso far. The aim to get is daily use then you go on moving forward improvement. As I see, AICP was ported quite well, just needs fixing calls and camera.
