I downloaded the new rom from the link in OP and checked its md5 sum: ok. I transfered the rom to the "sdcard" with a ftp server on the phone. Rebooted in cmw recovery and when I try to flash it it always says: "bad" and it refuses to flash it. Already tried it 2 times... Am I missing...

@M1cha: if it can be of help, I'm having a quite similar issue with the in-call audio volume with the latest cofface rom. It happens seldom, while in your latest public build it was always there. Anyway, when it happens, even if I pull down the volume to the minimum it is still way too loud.

I'm probably wrong, but, if you can identify the camera chips (front and rear) using the opensourced xiaomi kernel, did you already tried to see if there is already written code to use those chips with the new kernel? Maybe it saves you some burden.

Beside the camera (it will work when it will work... :-) ), the most annoying problem, for me, in your last build is the in-call audio volume, which is always too loud. If you think fixing the camera will take a longer work (I can live without it for another while), and if I'm not asking too...
