[ROM][JB][4.3][2013-12-29] CyanogenMod 10.2

Downloaded and installed this rom "cm-10.2-20131113-UNOFFICIAL-aries.zip".
Everything I use seems to be working on my Mi2S 32GB. Tried next features:

• Camera (OK, and fast!)
• Bluetooth (to Parrot carkit)
• Wifi
• Gps

Now only thing for me is test battery-usage. Will know more tomorrow...

Maybe people with camera-problems didn't do a full wipe? What I always do:

• Factory reset (wipes Data and Cache)
• Wipe Dalvik cache (using 'advanced' menu in CWM)
• Wipe System (using 'mount' menu in CWM)
• Install zip (rom) from SD
• Reboot and configure
• Restart to recovery and install Gapps
• Reboot
• Restore Apps using Titanium Backup

Thats (almost) the safest way to flash a new rom
You could also manually format all the partitions before flashing.
And using Titanium Backup CAN cause instability in your rom, so be careful with Titanium Backup.

FM app is removed for the time being to make it a Stable ROM..!
so which model you have?Is everything working fine?

I am having MI2S 32 gb Version, till now seems everything fine, above mentioned problem like Torch, LED notification, Camera all are working for me, just want to have FM that's why poste, any way if it is compromising stability then don't want to go for it....

that's the problem. u have too much cameras

It seems the front camera is not working.
I tried to switch from the back camera to the front one but the screen became dark and the camera app went unresponsive.
Now, every time I try to open the camera app it says "cannot connect to camera".
I did a full wipe to try to fix it but it didn't work.
I'll try to reboot the phone when it finished reinstalling all the app from the store... :-(

Having the same problem

on airplane mode, then turn it back off. works for me, no more wifi and bluetooth toggle stuck.


been using the rom for the past few hours with fly-on.
everything works so far, battery seems par as miui JLB (or maybe better. need more time to evaluate).
the only bugs i found was stucked wifi and bluetooth toggle. Fixed it by On and Off airplane mode.

I think the problem is solved. I turned on airplane mode and then I deactivated and now the wifi works!

M1cha the build is very strange. I had reinstalled 4 times.

1st time no Camera, 2nd time caméra ok, 3rd time caméra nok, 4th caméra ok... and what i did to have caméra working is no CM and Google account configuration at first boot.

Second: we need to install gapps too? Because I've found the playstore just installed after flashing the new rom, I don't want to mess something flashing gaaps if it's useless

ps.: tested camera and it works of course xD

Me too gapps is installed by default.

For people with bugs/problems please use SYSLOG to make a log, only way to understand the problem for devs.

(or any other way you can make a log of course, but this is really easy and free hehe)

Then maybe you did not wipe enough? I did not have PlayStore after flashing the rom.
And I think CyanogenMod was summoned by Google to remove gapps from all their roms and since then cm-roms don't contain gapps.

Maybe m1cha can answer this one?

this is true. CM supports scripts which are executed on reinstallation

Camera works great though!

I have a MI2S-32GB.
The main camera is working very well, only the front camera is not working.
For the carrier name, this rom (like many others) takes it from a closed source library made by qcom.
The name of my operator had an error and M1cha has been so kind to fix it (by hex-editing this lib).
If in your case it shows only numbers, I guess your operator was not foreseen by qcom at the time they built their lib... :-(

If in MIUI the name is correct tell me the exact name it show. Maybe MIUI manually replaces some ID's with names.
