I've never had the MIUI compass on my G2. Still nothing even after 1.12.16. I've noticed that com.miui.compass is in the list of my deleted apps in Titanium, but I never deleted it

Same here, although it only happens maybe 20% of the time. I've got plenty of space on my phone so I don't know why this is happening. After it fails, i'll try again and it'll work fine.

anyone else still having this problem? for me it started with 1.11.25 and has continue through the current rom. Android System, Phone Idle and Cell Standby are murdering my battery.

I don't know of any that ROM MIUI. Not from this site anyway. I'd s***est searching the xda forums--a lot of times each device's forum will have a list of roms available for that phone/table.

Last night I flashed back to 1.11.18 and am still having issues now that I didn't have last week. I took the phone off the charger at 8:00 this morning and less than 4 1/2 hours later I'm at 47%. Phone idle and cell standby account for over 50% of battery use.

same here. Oddly enough, I do get a lockscreen notification badge for a new picture message. Just not for a regular text. I haven't noticed the unlock-lock-unlock thing you mentioned.

Ever since updating over the weekend I've been getting horrible battery life. I literally lose at least 1% of battery for every minute that the screen is on. When I look at the running apps/services, the launcher is using 35 MB of ROM. Before the update it was in the 15% +/- range.

@ceanth whatever service the music app uses to download lyrics isn't very good. when it can't find the lyrics to a song you'll get the message you mentioned. I'll occassionally play a song that it'll find the lyrics to. Mostly it either doesn't find the lyrics or it finds the wrong song...

I installed the TMO visual voicemail app from the market but it doesn't work for me. G2.

Every time I plug my phone into the charger the phone goes into car mode. But since I don't have a car mode app on my G2, it just leaves the screen on. Anyone else?

MIUI doesn't have an app drawer like most other ROMs. All apps are shown on a homescreen unless you saved them to a folder. Like you said, dragging the app to the trash doesn't remove a shortcut, it deletes the app entirely.

I'd say it's almost perfectly stable on my phone with a few exceptions (sometimes freezes at lock screen when music is playing). I think MIUI is the best looking ROM available. Not sure if FM radio works for GS2.

No, that's not available with MIUI. Wish it was though b/c I refuse to enter a pattern every single time I unlock my phone.

same here on G2. Just began happening since last Friday. Screen stays lit but phone only rings once.

It's the same thing with all 3rd party music players that I've tried.
