i cant get my banking apps contactless payment feature to work after i root, or sometimes i can, but its a hit or miss so im now not rooting to avoid the headache ;)

Just dirty flashed OS2.0.100.0.VMBCNXM on my nuwa, unrooted and deleted magisk, so far the battery is the same as usual, which is actually commendable for an used device with 400 something battery cycles... Also the versioning number is different now..? In line with Xiaomis Hyperos OS2 beta...

hm no i didnt have any modules installed, just magisk itself, now i will try to install PIF you mentioned, currently i get nice battery life 3h 35m screen according to GSam and 62 percent battery remaining, ill now install the fix but in theory shouldnt affect, i also tweaked the core clocks and...

am not rooted, but can root if i need to, although with rooting through magisk i've noticed worsened battery... Samsung has a ''light performance mode'' that downclocks the cpu to save more battery and make the phone heat up less. I feel like i would also benefit from such a feature but i dont...

my device doesnt have indonesia rom, but has taiwan, i tried it, just found the experience worse and less polished overall (no screen on time indicator, more bloated, feels overall less polished etc.), so i just clean flashed xiaomi,eu hyperos and im happy with it

edit.... did NOT install magisk this time around... gained 1h 50m screen on time with similar usage... weird, but amazed..

going to say something totally baseless and crazy but.. i used to get 4h 30m screen on time (on 4g) when i was rooted with magisk on os2.0.3.0 on nuwa the day before i did a clean install and did not flash magisk this time around, and today i got 6h 20m screen on time (on 1440p!, 4g only)... if...

i think what i did was a ''dirty flash'', i used the first install script,i got a different set up page and everything, so lets see if this fixes things up after app setup etc.

i went to eliterom for a tiny bit on my nuwa... somehow ended up bricking my phone while trying to flash,and now im back up and running with latest hyperos EU rom again thanks to this teams easy fastboot script :D:D:D thanks guys :cool:
