I share your point of view Seattletruth, it does feel backwards to long press to access recent apps. The instant recent apps button makes a so much smoother experience overall especially in a tablet. Thanks Mikel for the tip.

To me, not supporting FDD LTE is a big drawback and I feel like a need an update from my MI 2S. the lack of app space is killing me.

Just updated the thread with the review. The phone seems quite big, I was not sure if I would upgrade my Mi2S, still unsure... Nonetheless, the Mi3 is definitively sexier that the Mi2S. Benchmarks scores didn't impress me either. Though, it is the Tegra 4 version, so we might have better...

Dunno, but I do think the IMEI number should also be on the back of the box like the Mi2 one. You have to ask that to the publisher i guess. Must be a sticker. I don't remember clearly but I think the IMEI number wasn't on the back of the Mi2S. Could be wrong.

Update : A review has been published also. The benchmarks scores, especially the Antutu one surprised me A LOT (11min45) : I was waiting for the ibuygou's hands on but I came across this one. Still a Tegra 4 version... anyway, maybe we'll get an English full review soon enough.

Well, I always use the Matt Screen Protectors and they are very solid because they are pretty much scratch proof.

I haven't tested all the screen protectors yet. But I tend to prefer matt screen protectors. It is solid, scratch resistant and above all, it is much nicer touch wise. I mean, your fingers just slide perfectly on the matt screen protector.

I would prefer the Snapdragon S800 power consumption wise. Tegra 4 has been known for being a beast in this department explaining why there are close to 0 devices until now packing such a SoC. Cortex A15 is indeed powerful but is power hungry and seems to be overheating a bit. This is also why...

Most likely, especially on the "dev rom" (it is the weekly updated rom). But I won't pre-order yet. The launch date is quite far away in the future (still at least 40 to 50 days). I do think ibuygou is a safe website, but in case, there is a problem, you won't be covered by Paypal's buyer...
