boot into safe mode - still black display, what's fix in this is i boot into recovery mode and wipe data, and the rom fixes, maybe themes on eu 13.0.4.0 vayu is broken, i hope devs acknowledge/fixes it in the next stable releases

Actually it happens when you try to boot a recovery that is incompatible with your current rom. It keeps trying to reboot to twrp (or so it seems) The start screen of twrp turns on and off and keeps repeating this. Until you have to press the power button to force reboot the device

You can reboot to TWRP without power off the phone too :)

at point 2 : the logo Mi and the powered by android (with 3 points like downloading) are still visible...
