I have exactly the same issue (and exactly the same error message)... I can't send any messages anymore, basically making my phone useless... This is pretty serious :( EDIT: Clearing data and rebooting twice fixed the issue.

Enable notifications and send yourself an email. On a hotmail/outlook account in my case, but idk if it has anything to do with the bug or not. Also, the bug seemed fixed with hotfix 1 or 2 but seems to have come back in the 4th hotfix. Clearing data and resetting the email accounts did not help.

As far as I know you're not running an official MIUIAndroid rom, but a port. If you want to run v5 as well you'll have to ask the developer of your rom if he could port this newer version.
