    The / system is mounted in TWRP and the read-only option is not selected.

    If I do it from root with a file manager, my phone enters fastboot when replacing the file. From TWRP I can't because it only lets me mount / system as read.

    I have verified that with a Mi 9, deleting the folder from a file explorer does not cause a restart in fasboot mode. It looks like a bug in the Mi 10 rom.

    I own a Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro when I delete the folder system/media/theme/miui_mod_icons from a file explorer the phone does not start and stays in fastboot mode. And from TWRP I can't delete it because it doesn't mount /system. I think it's an android 10 issue. Thanks
