    Enough of miui v6

In simple words: You want to downgrade , so you can't use an updater to do it. It is in the words themselves. You should need a rom manager, but because it doesn't exist for miui, go for the recovery etc.

    Enough of miui v6

I would use the backup utility first, and use recovery, it won't let you use the updater because it is an updater not a downgrader

Hongmi does not recognize European SIM

Ok, I had the same problem here and believe it or not the sim card works if you put some normal tape on the side without the contacts, in order to increase the thickness just a little, then put the card into the 3g socket, it will work. Don't ask me why.

Big differences between stock ROM and the ones here

Pasko, I can turn on and off the pin code, but if I want to have it turned on, there is a reason. I'm not pointing the finger on miuiandroid, when it's for free one can't complain and I only said that I saw no reason to took away the "lite" option. I added the feedback for the bugs that I found...

Is it "Miui?" Buy it or not ?

Yes, I agree with you, it is not a phone for me, because yes I really need someone that works on a buggy phone to solve the problems, or I sell it and look elsewhere. Personally I buy XIAOMI for the supposed level of development of the rom, a rom in "its" phone. Anyway it is my opinion and I...

Is it "Miui?" Buy it or not ?

The hongmi redrice 1s is actually a good smartphone, my girlfriend owns one and it's ok, anyway, if you buy it don't expect to have the same kind of support or development of other XIAOMI/MIUI devices: there has been never a development version or weekly updates, there is only the stable version...

Big differences between stock ROM and the ones here

No, I think it's not normal : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SIM_lock#Unlocking_technology Anyway: - My SIM card do have PIN codes - My other phones (MI2S is one of them) requires only to enter the pin code at boot or if I had more security check: - No phones in my entire life had ever asked to...

Big differences between stock ROM and the ones here

Ok, these are the passages: -stick in one or more sims with a sim code -enter sim codes when the phone boots -take a train, enter a tunnel or whatever, anyway, lose the network -when the network is back you've to type the sim code again -play a game under the tunnel, when the network goes back...

Big differences between stock ROM and the ones here

We have different points of view about what is "minor" or "major", erasing features like the lite mode is something that I would not have done, but you grasps the magic wand, not me. The sim pin code fat bug can't be correct from me

Big differences between stock ROM and the ones here

I was just trying the stock rom that comes with the phone (stable 23, chinese/english) and there is a huge difference from the one present here (stable 24, but the stable 23 was the same). Many more features (lite mode, support for google phone search etc.) are present in the stock one. It looks...

    Redmi 1s Or Xiaomi Mi2A

The question is if your friend needs a dual sim or not. I own a MI2S and my gf a HONGMI 1S and I'm really tempted to switch to the 1s because I really would need a dually: I have a service phone for my job. The performance are not very far and the display is wider but not so much to become...

    Hongmi 1S

What I did: turn the phone in usb debugging mode " Open up your device’s “Settings”. This can be done by pressing the Menu button while on your home screen and tapping “System settings” Now scroll to the bottom and tap “About phone” or “About tablet”. At the “About” screen, scroll to the...
