Yes, it really "seems" that stable ROM is not cool enough for the friendly people who run this place. My hope is that they are too busy working on that ROM and have no time to answer threads like this one. The stable miui 7 global is ready and will be pushed on ota beginning the day after...

I'll second that! Totally agree and request the same also for Redmi 2 2014813. I understand that the greatest interest here is for the developers ROM, but there are many users as well who prefer/need an up-to-date stable ROM. Thank you guys!

You could install CM security and easily protect access to 'Settings' (or any desired program) with a pattern.

I would like to know that too. @Dmitriy-1606 Thank you for your explanation, but I still don't get it. I set it to Unlock, rebooted and I can see no difference. The same options are still available for both sims as they were before.

Now that android m has started rolling to users around the world, not only nexus but even lg g4 is being upgraded right now, it bugs me that we are still stuck with a 32 bit os. We have been promised to get lollipop long time ago but nothing came of it. I wouldn't even have bought my redmi 2...
