No way, even after changing language to EN-US the setting is not there. Mounting today's weekly with custom kernel and magisk, but even when I had no magisk and no custom kernel it wasn't there...

I can confirm that the setting is absent also on my Mi5 with latest update and it was absent in an older weekly too. Might it depend on the language? @graw2

    7.12.7

Well, it's not really a beta, but being a weekly developer one should assume that he may encounter some issues. For the early users it becomes kind of a beta and it's good that they report bugs here...

Of course testers should test, but Xiaomi.eu is not a huge team as I could guess, and it might not be that easy for them to test everything in less than a week's time. It's normal that once in a while some bugs might show up...

I wrote it a few posts back, just download previous rom, wipe system and then flash.

Xiaomi.eu is just a team and of course they can't test every single feature of the rom on every single device, since it would take just a bit longer than a week... [emoji28]

Yes, you normally need to wipe system only when going back or changing rom. When updating the same rom it's not necessary. Anyway, you need to go into Wipe > advanced wipe > select only system and then swipe the arrow to wipe the partition. Now you are ready to flash. [emoji108]

Did you wipe system before flashing? Inviato dal mio MI 5 utilizzando Tapatalk

The problem is that translations are not updated to support latest implementations in security app, so they cause it to FC. Now just revert back to previous rom and stop complaining. [emoji112]

You are not running today's rom, that's probably why it's still working for you! Inviato dal mio MI 5 utilizzando Tapatalk

This is not an official rom from Xiaomi; in addition, this is a weekly developer, so there might be issues and this thread is here to report them. If you don't want to have issues just wait for others to report bugs and then decide whether installing or not. Stop complaining and thank the...

Well, maybe it was just a coincidence. I'll try with next weekly build and see if it still happens. However, this is quite strange, my rom was stock with no custom kernel and even with no root when this issue happened for the first time... [emoji848] Inviato dal mio MI 5 utilizzando Tapatalk

    MIUI 9 7.10.12/13/14

Okay, I made a couple of tests and it seems that this is happening only if I switch off my Mi5 while already charging. If I switch it off and then plug in charger it will boot just fine... Inviato dal mio MI 5 utilizzando Tapatalk

Thanks for your reply graw2, I don't get why this is happening just in my case. Did you switch off your Mi5 while already charging? That's what I usually do. Anyway, I clean flashed the rom, since I was coming from another custom rom. I will try to reproduce the issue again, maybe after wiping...

    [7.10.12] Alarm Bug

Hello, since I clean flashed 7.10.12 rom on my Mi5, I've faced a bug with the alarm. I set the alarm, plug in charger and switch off the phone. In the morning I find my phone discharged (sometimes even completely discharged) and in a sort of bootloop, trying to boot. As soon as I unplug charger...

Mi5: this morning my phone had to turn on for the alarm, but I saw it discharged down to 20% even though charger was plugged in and phone was stuck in a sort of bootloop. When I unplugged charger it finally booted and alarm rang. Anyone else with the same issue? Latest xiaomi.eu weekly Inviato...

Update Eu Stable With Locked Bootloader - Redmi 3

Thanks for your answer, since I'm often away from home I would have preferred a faster way, as I've already flashed once EU stable without unlocking bootloader. However, I'll apply for the unlock if things are so! [emoji3][emoji120] Inviato dal mio Mi-4c utilizzando Tapatalk
