I will give you my feedback about this question you have. For example, when my redmi 3s came, it was using global development rom. And the launcher was always crashing because of choosing my name country's language... If I wanted to keep that rom I would need to use English or something else...

You can go into the Security App that comes with the ROM and then scroll to the bottom you will find something like this: Select that first one blueish saying "Acelerador de jogos" in portuguese it means "Game Booster". Tell me if it worked for you ;) I am not playing anything atm Good luck.
