Hi. Sorry, took me a long time to report back, as I had a lot of work. I managed to flash the Chinese Official ROM successfully and the problem is FIXED. Definitely worth trying out.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try to install the Chinese official ROM, as it seems that the global ROM is not available for the standard edition right now. I will check back with more information after I'm done flashing.
