    Is it normal the volume up/down keys to be active when the phone is locked (MI 8 SE)? I started noticing my ringtone volume level was all over the place and then I discovered it can be easily altered while the phone is locked and in my pocket.

    Your issue is probably different, I can access fastboot and boot the ROM no problem, it only gets stuck when trying to access TWRP.

    MI8 SE, same issue as above, TWRP is gone....even after reflashing the TWRP image, it's not accessible. Other than that everything seems to work OK.

    +1 In dark environment the brightness is pretty much at the lowest setting, which makes the display barely visible.
