I usually use my heater in my room, that must be around 25 m2 (or less) and in that case, the temperature keeps going up, even at 1200W (which seems to be the minimum power output). Honestly, I don't know, but from what I've been reading here, I think the heater sets the power automatically. I'm pretty sure there's no way to set the power output manually. I guess it sets the power to 800w once it reaches the set temperature and when it only has to maintain the current...

Considering all this, the only thing that really makes sense to me is that some rooms are just too small to allow them to maintain, without incresing, the room temperature at lower power - 800W. I use it only in my room, that's probably about 25 m2 and when set to 18 ºC, it goes over 20 ºC...

Just tested and the temperature on the app does go up once the heater is turned off. Hadn't noticed that before. I submitted a comment for Xiaomi through the app. Probably won't do much, but I guess there's not much more we can do at the moment.
