I am just lost at this point, so I already downgraded and performed a clean install of the stable Rom and it's working perfectly I might give weekly rom another try after a few months but for now, it ain't working for me!

simple goto settings > sounds & touch > ringtone > all ringtones > tap and hold on the tones you wanna delete, select all that you wanna remove and hit delete. This will delete the ringtones only from the list but not from your phone memory Let me know if that helps :)

That's exactly how it is supposed to work but this method just won't work on my Mi 11 Venus. The only way I can set a custom ringtone and it works is through the Zedge app. I read that this isn't a huge bug, it's just some permission issues but how to correct these permissions? lol

Update: After clearing the cache multiple times and a couple of restarts, I am not able to get into the updater but the ringtone issue still exists, I also tried installing the FIX but it didn't work either.

Thanks for the quick response @Igor Eisberg - so I am now able to get into the updater but still can't work the ringtone setting. I also tried installing the fix from here but it shot an error and took more than 15 minutes to boot after but it didn't work. Is there any solution to that or is...

I am having an issue with Whatsapp. I have set a local downloaded mp3 file as whatsapp ringtone but incoming Whatsapp calls still playing the default theme ringtone even though custom ringtone is working fine for regular cellular calls, any solutions?
