I'm wanting to flash miui on my Nexus 4 for the first time. is this an "official" device? do I need to flash a language pack to use this in English (US)? thanks.

I just switched from the G2 to a One S. The phone is amazing. Instead of removing the battery like you can do on the G2, you can hold the power button down for 10+ seconds to force a reset

This is awesome! I just got a One S yesterday and MIUI is the only rom I'd consider putting on it. Looks like this will do until the real deal comes (hopefully it will).

Mark, we've written about this before, but please see if they can fix the bug where the phone freezes when the phone is locked while the miui music player is playing. That and haptic feedback on keypress while texting are the only two bugs as far as I'm concerned.

@iBotPeaches do you know if MIUI v4 is in the plans for the G2? Not asking for an ETA, just if it's a possibility. No big deal that GB was EOL'd...it was a very good and stable rom and was pretty much as good as it could be.

I did that...it specifically says that those apps are compatible with my phone! What's even weirder is that I can't update n7 player by itself, but when I click "update all" it updates. I have no idea why

yeah, I thought about that, but in reading the change logs, they're just minor updates. nothing major that should make my phone incompatible. I'll update the rom to 2.3.16 to see if that changes anything

No, I'm still on a GB ROM. I mean when I try to update the individual app in the market, I get that error. Clearing cache didn't help.

There is a mod out there somewhere on another board that allows you to do this, but it hasn't been updated in a long time. If you search my name for posts I've created you'll find it.

G2, 2.3.9 I've got two apps (Google Earth and N7 Player) that have an update in the Maket and when I try to update, it says "your device isn't compatible with this item." This just started in the last few days.

I can't argue and say that the GB ROM isn't relatively stable, because it is. I just wish they would look into the issue of the phone locking up when you play a song, then turn the screen off. That makes my phone freeze all the time. It's very annoying to have to do a battery pull while...
