This is very interesting: I read that for OxygenOS, if your phone came with Global ROM, you can't lock the bootloader after flashing Indonesia ROM. Is this limitation not true for MIUI/HyperOS?

Do you know if Global ROM for Indonesia can cause some inconvenience or bug, if the Smartphone's hardware is not from Indonesia?

I assume your xiaomi.eu ROM is china based and not global based. That's the primary reason you can't backup

I can't understand why. I've used Google backup in many custom ROMs, switching from stock ROM. Only CN based phones do this ?

I've read so far that Google backup doesn't restore a backup from global to china and viceversa. Xiaomi cloud doesn't seem to have that problem, though.

1. Normally, exclusive Global Phones (e.g. Xiaomi 11T Pro) don't have a Chinese original ROM so they rely on Global ROM for the xiaomi.eu ROM. [1] (see Codename vili below) I deduce that this causes inconveniences for the xiaomi.eu team and they may not be able to integrate well china-based apps...

Is Google backup (app, app data, sms, WIFI passwords) not working in any Xiaomi.eu ROM ? Not even if the ROM is Global based ? @SpookieGames, kindly confirm this if you can, since you have this Global based ROM.
