okay i am sorry for the commotion. i had followed those steps but somehow obviously ****ed up. anyway i can confirm that the above answer works. integrity checker affirms basic integrity again @gogocar62 you're my hero (again!)

thank you for the update but somehow i am too daft to get it working again. did the usual: installed apk -> cleared play services AR, play store, wallet -> reboot. now i cannot even check integrity. the integrity checker says: the other app (TBchecker) complains something about error code...

Thanks tried that. Also deleted all cache of gallery app but no change. The phone just sits there and gets warm. With battery being drained by Gallery :( Can I safely dirty-flash last week's release? Or would that require data wipe? Thanks again

new play integrity fix works like a charm. thanks to the devs for their awesome work and rolling it out conveniently via OTA updater! does anybody have an idea how to automate the process: - download and install latest fix apk - delete wallet/play cache - reboot that'd be effing awesome :)

my god. thank you guys! i solved it simply by installing Revanced EXTENDED insttead of vanilla revanced. same steps as usual (uninstall yt and go through hidden settings) and now it works thanks again <3

thats the best part: if i use google (search) app the video will actually open in Revanced :D :( it's just chrome that does not want to play along...
