I don't know what version you're on but on gingerbread the bootaudio is stored in /data/system/theme/boots and you can delete the mp3 with any root enabled browser (like root explorer.) And if you're on gingerbread then you could also go to Settings>themes>customize>boot audio and select "None"...

Does anyone know how to add the auto split function to the Mms.apk that MIUI comes with? I'm on a cdma network so I cannot send messages longer than 160 characters. I have an old Mms.apk that has auto split enabled but it is for a much older version of MIUI gingerbread so settings doesn't work...

Or you can use Droid wall from the market. I used it before the days of having miui on my Droid X.. and I think in the built in firewall it displays how much data the applications use. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions"
