New Redmi note 12s 5ghz wifi connection not available

I have a Redmi note 12s whose hardware should allow it to connect to 5ghz yet I am unable to even see 5ghz wifi. Do you guys think It might be a hardware problem because I was able to connect to it for a short period like in the image below or will switching the ROM fix this problem. second...
