Yeah the stock kernel is fine, although I still prefer Zach's neo kernels.

Hi Anybody know why custom kernels no longer work with the latest rom releases? Perhaps its device specific, in not sure. I've got a SGS GT-I9000. Just gets stuck at boot screen after flashing custom kernel. Others have reported having issues as well.

MissedIt always force closes for me on 1.9.30, i haven't been able to get it to work at all. Also, when using LauncherPro and trying to change icons/dock using the stock gallery, LauncherPro force closes. It works fine if you use another gallery application to select the icon/dock however.

The utilisation of custom themes( a major 'selling point' of MIUI) greatly changes the appearance of the UI. Its still android through and through though, in my opinion. The default theme does share some similarities with iOS no doubt, however I do not think its an 'imitation' at all...

Well iv got kind of the opposite. Twitter and Whatsapp work, everything else (including the browser) doesnt. I use wifi at my unviersity and have entered all the required settings but no luck. It always used to work on stock firmware before i flashed MIUI.

It would be nice if you could mod the clocks to provide a set with the date format switched around. Example : For September eleven, instead of 9-11, have 11-9. Where I'm from we use that date format :) But otherwise good work, using your clocks on my homescreen ever since i got them!

Sorry, I should have been more specific-im on Neo 9 redux v5 which came before Neo 16 and 17. I'm using it on recommendation from the developer as being the most stable (Neo 16 and 17 are a it more experimental). When I have a chance I will try out the latest kernel and report back to you...
