Gallery is lagging

Hi just wanted to report,

When looking at pictures, the gallery is lagging badly. Pictures don't come into focus right away and there is a very noticable pause as you try to transition from slide to slide.

Phone: Nexus One
sd card: 16gb, partitioned with 1gb ext3
rom: 1.9.16

Install was clean, full wipe 3x, wiped dalvik, new sd card, partition was checked and ok, all apps loaded new from market.

Thats why im using quickpic gallery app fast and simple Loads 500+ pic's fast

i use quickpic as well! much better than any stock gallery that I've used before. really great gallery replacement.
