    3.4.5

Damn MIUI. They can't even bother with updating the S3 base to the safer and better 4.1.2. -.-

    3.1.11

Oh yeah, I missed the reboot part. :p

Resolved No lockscreen or home-menu (i9300)

Solved. I flashed miui without flashing gapps, then rebooted and went through setup, then rebooted and flashed gapps. Now everything works. :D

    3.1.11

I solved my issue with no lockscreen etc. I flashed miui without flashing gapps, booted into miui and went through setup and then rebooted into recovery and installed gapps. Now everything works. :D

    Changelog MIUI ROM 3.1.11 Changelog

Flashed this a few hours ago on my Samsung Galaxy S3 (i9300 intl.) and I love the new calc. Though, I have two seriously annoying bugs: 1) I have no lockscreen whatsoever. Doesn't matter what theme I apply. Completely gone. 2) Home button doesn't react to anything.

Resolved No lockscreen or home-menu (i9300)

I'm at my wits' end, guys. My phone doesn't like MIUI :p

Resolved No lockscreen or home-menu (i9300)

I am currently on stock (though rooted) Samsung firmware (Jellybean 4.1.2). The re-partition thing isn't a smart thing to do on a device like the Galaxy S3.

Resolved No lockscreen or home-menu (i9300)

I have done everything within my knowledge (wipe, format, the lot) and even tried previous versions of MIUI and still no lock screen or working power button. The funny thing is, it worked a few weeks ago when I ran miui. (2.12.21) but now when I tried 2.12.21, it doesn't work. I suspect that...

Resolved No lockscreen or home-menu (i9300)

Is anyone even reading this? I have literally been googling for hours on end, without any luck. Everything works back on stock Samsung rom, but as soon as I flash miui, these bugs show up. No one seems to know.

    3.1.11

I'm surprised why no one hasn't even bothered to help me, yet., with anything other than what I've already done. Wipe, reflash etc. doesn't help. Maybe I'll just wait a week and see if the next build has these bugs..

    3.1.11

No one knows, at all, why it's like this? I've tried everything possible but I can't get the darned lock screen to show or the home button to work other than being used as a wake button..

    3.1.11

What are you talking about? I'm installing the MIUI directly from miuiandroid. No multilanguage or anything. I am far too familiar with English to use any other language. ;)

    3.1.11

Tried that, but no help there. Wiping and reflashing doesn't help.

    3.1.11

I use the default theme, and I've tried reapplying it, applying other themes, rebooting, reinstalling. Nothing helps so this build must be broken. :/

    3.1.11

No one knows why it's like this?

    3.1.11

MIUI 3 is the best MIUI release so far. Everything's literally buttery smooth on my i9300. I don't seem to have any lockscreen, though, and my home button doesn't work whilst the screen's lit, only works for waking the device from sleep. :/

Resolved No lockscreen or home-menu (i9300)

In fact, the home button doesn't work at all when the screen is on, I can't minimize any app. It only works to wake the device.

Resolved No lockscreen or home-menu (i9300)

Hey guys and gals. I'm running the latest MIUI (3.1.11) and my device is an i9300 Galaxy S III (board name m0) and I have encountered two bugs. 1. I have no lockscreen whatsoever, despite having set "slide" in the security menu in settings. 2. I have no home-menu, i.e. the one that appears...

What differs you from MIUI.us, e.g. why should I choose you?

I don't know how things look MIUI ICS-wise, but the ICS development at XDA had come a long way. No more RAM issues if one has kernel samepage merging activated, and even better if one also has compcache/zram enabled (at default 18%)
