thx, i'll use that next time. i've got miui permissions frozen (titanium) cos it seems to conflict with Xposed.

thx to this & the other 1eyedmonster posts i've FINALLY updated my i9505 from 4.4.11. my steps: -started with Philz kernel (was using that anyway) -dirty install, no wipe just flashed 4.6.6 -flash chronic kernel -flash superSU (i lost root just doing above 3 steps). very happy.

compatibility with (or a variation of, workaround for) Xposed framework modules. I can't live without greenify. sent via tapatalk while on the toilet.

i've tried to upgrade & be happy a couple of times, but the only thing keeping me back is theme specific. not just the general change, but i've got mixmatch hotchpotch of a theme that the new versions either state 'buy', or with full wipe then old theme apk etc it causes problems with incoming...

same problem here on 2.11.30 (with 10.26 version of theme app). didn't realise it was linked to a theme but just reverted back to 10.26. might have another go this friday & see if i can work out which bit of theme is causing it.

yup, just travel back a week. great advice from marty mcfly. Sent from my GT-I9100 using a theme that was free and applied ok.

not ideal, but a workaround for removing provider name is WeatherBug, in settings it can display temp at left side of notification bar. thus magically prevents provider name displaying. still shows in lockscreen tho.

how do i select all? double tap brings up select for copy/cut, but how do i get select all or paste? at the mo i'm having to share to other app to select all. cheers.

nice one. also confirmed here. 2.7.6 with networklocations.apk from 6.22 works.

not sure if same (but it's similar) fbook messenger isn't adding location. problem started with 6.29 and is fine with 6.22. i think i read somewhere that replacing networklocations.apk from earlier version, i haven't tried that yet.

it wont work with orweb, but if you get firefox and the proxy mobile addon it works fine.
