BEWARE there is a nasty bug. My phone had a factory reset. I don't blame you Wajk but this really sucks as I don't have a backup! EDIT: I should read better :D, Frederik VDP had the same, reboot solved it. Damn that was some scary s**t haha AND I just made a backup.

I experience the same but I think it has to do with with MI2S hardware. I really love this ROM but the camera is awfull.

I should have made myself more clear, I meant I would make a nandroid backup of system1. And restore it in system 1 after repartitioning. Then install KitKat in system2, that should work right? And you mean to not repartition but just use ivan's minimal gapps?

After repartitioning, can I just reinstall my Miui backup in system 1 and than install KitKat in system 2? I'd like to try out Kitkat but don't want to lose my current installation.

Bij de nieuwe MIUI versie 3.12.13 is de datum weg bij het unlocken van het scherm. Ik weet niet of dit ook zo was bij de vorige versie maar het viel me zojuist op. Wanneer ik naar beneden slide om mijn unlock code in te geven is de datum terug. Het is een probleem bij de Nederlandstalige...

Thank you iBotPeaches, to be sure GPS won't work at all? Or just location services? I find location services a bit creepy and I don't use Google maps. I'm scared of both :)

Would it be possible to release Xiaomi version WITHOUT gapps? I fear for my privacy using gapps.
