I tried that, didn't work. My issue is sometimes solved by reinstalling radio, sometimes by switching off wifi. Usually after one call (or lock/unlock cycle?) it goes back to not working. trying a radio reinstall now.

Hi, I've flashed the 2013-12-29 version and wifi didn't turn on. I then flashed the latest radio and again the 12-29 rom, and still no wifif. The settings just iay 'turning on wifi' and nothing happens. Any ideas?

On mi2s 32gb. After updating the nav and tab bars of the browser disappear or show blank. A similar issue occurs in the scroll bar of the ES file explorer bar. After closing the browser the bars reappear. I've reinstalled the rom twice, once with complete wipe. I'm going to roll back now and see...

Ow. Sorry, typo. I meant UMS, USB Mass Storage. I've tried some apps that should enable it, but while they don't give an error message and they switch off the Media Transfer Protocol, the UMS still doesn't work.

I might be having a blonde moment here, but I flashed update.zip, and I still have the xiaomi standard recovery when using the volume up button at boot. Any tips?

Hi, would it be possible to add UMS (also named USB MSC) to the MI2 kernel? That way users could use it at their own risk using apps. There seems to be significant demand for this- those of us who can't install drivers on our work pc's for example can't use the phone with MTP.

I'd love to get rid of the MTP as I can't install drivers on the PCs I use at work. Is there any chance to add normal MSC to the wishlist for Miui? Is there any rom that has MSC?
