Since your flash is unsuccesful try from mirecovery , it will clean up your phone at the first flash and after that u can use the updater normally After downloading the file rename it update.zip . Shut down your phone and enter mirecovery by keeping pressed power+volume up ,and select update.zip

Never encountered this kind of issue , must be your any wrong setting on your device . Was it like that even before the last update ?

If the led on the touch buttons is blue then yes u have a fake one :( Original xiaomi phones have it white .
