Yes and no. I found another option available in privacy called Encrypt device using lock screen password and so I used that one. Not sure if it is supposed to be same as the other one. Hi guys, I am on 7.1.12 (xiaomi.eu version) no root, no special tweaks or mods. I tried to encrypt my phone from Settings->Additional Settings->Privacy->Encrypt Phone but the phone simply resets and no actual encryption seems to take place. After switching to 6.12.22 downloaded from this site everything is working as expected. At least for now. No root again.- cristids

Mi Mix And Gear Manager: No App Download!
I am on a stock (non dev) Chinese rom, not rooted and I get the same issue. Sometimes I get a blank page, sometimes I get an empty UI that is unable to find anything. So that part of installing new apps and new watch faces is useless. Other than that though the watch works ok.- cristids
