I am also on Mi 6, but no longer use MIUI. Last time I used MIUI 12 beta battery performance is quite good compared to MIUI 11 stable. Lucky you had 50% discount, new Mi 8 still being sold at high price in my country. I prefer Mi 9T as replacement.- tino leonardi

Problem solved by install mi doc viewer. Now I have another problem, I want to know why Get Apps (i installed it) disppear from Home screen. How to bring it back? It is not deleted, I still can see the app in "manage apps". Thanks!- tino leonardi

Absolutely agree with you, I think this mi 6 is strong enough even for Android 11 :). The same SoC got Android 10 in Oneplus.- tino leonardi

Are you using MIUI global stable or xiaomi.eu stable? I suggest you use Xiaomi.eu MIUI 11. It was trouble free when I was on Mi5s plus.- tino leonardi

With EOL what CUSTOM ROM will you use?
I do not like AOSP/custom ROM, so I may stay with MIUI. Let's just hope someone port MIUI for old Mi 6- tino leonardi
