1.8.19 photo frame widget

Since 1.8.x i can't place or change the photo widget frame on my homescreen.

It just place the standard frame without the photo.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I just added some custom frames to MIUI\gadget\photo_frame and tried to change the frame on an existing 4x2 widget and it wouldn't select - frame just stayed same as before. So I deleted the existing widget and tried to add a new one. Everything looked great in the preview screen (frame and photo) but when I clicked confirm to apply it all I get every time is the default frame and image.

The Problem ist still available with 1.12.x
