New [2.6.16] [SGS2] Contacts disappearing

Despite the update (2.6.15 --> 2.6.16)...

Update:

Importing contacts to local storage, fix 2.6.15 ROM version, using local account storage to store contacts then rebooting will cause previously imported contacts to be removed.

... I still have this problem! (And I don't even need to reboot the phone; contacts just disappear randomly, few times a day...)
