New [20.3.26 - MI 9T - no notifications with Gmail]

I'm recently having this problem with Gmail app: it doesn't give notifications anymore.
Tried to look in app settings, battery management but everything seems to be OK.
It seems like hibernated.
I receive emails only when I open the app.
Any advice? Thank you

I use MIUI E-Mail app for Gmail, it has "push (automatic)" sync option and it's working better than Gmail app (at least on MIUI...).

Check within the gmail app under your account settings, if under notification the option "all" and not "only high priority" is set.

Thank you, "all" was already set.
I added also "Notify for every message" under Inbox notifications...let's see.
