Resolved (20.7.30) Location icon flashes every time phone is woken up

Every time I wake up the phone by pressing the power button the location icon flashes three times in the status bar:

There's no app listed in "recent location requests" so it must be a system app/service that's using location.

I thought it might be something related to Find My Device (Xiaomi or Google) but it still happens with those disabled.

Try checking weather app and all Google apps even play store. you can use wakeblock app from play store to block location or just put a time on when it can be used

I'm pretty certain it's Security Center that's the culprit behind this issue. For every time the phone is woken up Security Center appears 3x in the logs. Here the phone was woken up three times and Security Center appears 9 times:

Also, if you wipe all data for the app, the bug will immediately occur:
