I have the same issue on Mi 10 (umi). Even on 20.12.29 or 21.1.6, same issue, both installed formatting data...

== Possible Solution for "Sound and vibration" settings crash ==

Go in phone's settings => Digital Wellbeing and Parental Controls => Bedtime mode => Turn off "Greyscale" mode

>>> Thanks @zinzi for this info!

== "Last" Solution for "Sound and vibration" settings crash ==

Do a "Factory reset" in TWRP, reboot and do NOT restore a backup of the "System settings" from Google Cloud/Backup and AVOID to restore "Digital Wellbeing" app. ;)

Hi, I have the same issue, Sound & Vibration crashing when opening. I have never tinkered with android before and what you advised makes no sense to me. Is there a guide somewhere how to perform this factory reset? Also, does this mean my phone will be completely wiped (data, accounts, apps etc...). thanks for help!

Edit: btw I am using mi 11 device with MIUI 12.5.1 - I saw this thread mentiones mi 9T, does this matter?

Doesn't matter. If you used a Google account on Global ROM before (where Digital wellbeing was preinstalled) and then moved to our ROM while using the same Google account and you chose to sync apps and settings during initial setup, you're likely to break DND settings.

Sorry if I am being stupid but I was not using xiaomi.eu ROM. I did official release update through official xiaomi update service from Settings > About phone > MIUI Version. Does this change anything ?

Hi, I wrote to Xiaomi through the feedback tab in settings and they advised the same. This fix is working. They advised they are aware of this bug and that it will be fixed in upcoming patches. cheers for the help

Edit: in fact they sent the exact same message as you, it seems you are maybe part of xiaomi developer team? If so, this is great, thanks for looking to assist people who encounter the bug
