3.8.23 can't connect to camera

Does anyone have a camera error on their mi2s where it says can't connect to camera and requires a reboot since 3.8.23 update.

I've actually just rolled back to 3.8.16 as am also seeing bad battery life on 3.8.23 as my 3000mah batteries are being used up in under 10 hours.
