New Android auto connection to peugeot expert doesn't work

I just recently received my new car, a peugeot expert. Trying to connect my brand new xiaomi redmi 13pro+ 5g, it doesn't work. Asked the manufacturer of the car and he says that my phone is not compatible with the car. I cannot use Andoid car ! I connect the phone and the screen remains black. Or all of a sudden a map of google maps appears buth nothing can be done on the screen. Nothing works !
anyone who can help me ? I didn't realise I had to check what phone I had before bying a car

This is a custom ROM forum, you should try to contact Xiaomi instead.
