Hi everyone, I'm trying to connect my new Xiaomi 14 (1.0.14.0.UNCEUXM) to Skoda Kamiq 2021 with USB cabel, it shows "Failed to connect" when I press "Android Auto" button on the car's screen. Phone itself shows "Connected to auto" popup. USB popup shows "Data transfer/Android Auto". Tried different cables, including the original one. Old MI9 phone works well.

What should I check?

Was soll ich überprüfen?

Bei mir ist es genau die gleiche Situation. Kabeltausch bringt keinen Erfolg.

Sorry about that.

It's exactly the same situation for me. Replacing cables is unsuccessful. My Xiaomi 12 and other smartphones (Galaxy Flip 3, Galaxy S21 FE) are recognized immediately. Is it due to HyperOS? Are there already other suggested solutions?
I received my Xiaomi 14 on Friday, this would be a criterion for me to return it.
Vehicle is a Seat Leon ST BJ. 23. Wireless is not supported.

Unfortunately, same problem here. Android auto does not work. Works with literally 6 other phones, including Xiaomi 13

Any update / progress solving this? I'm concerned whether AA will work on Xiaomi 14 Ultra, it's a must for drivers indeed.

AA works flawless, but Google assistant is not listening, trying to work this out..

Correction, after dis and enabling the assistant, it works, even on locked screen, no issues!

That's great to hear - I assume you're talking about the official Ultra Global / EEA fw, not about Xiaomi.EU. If so, let's hope they fix it on the small Xiaomi 14 as well.

OK then - but the OP was talking about 1.0.14.0.UNCEUXM, which is the official EEA fw for the Global Xiaomi 14. AA does not work on stock ROM - at least on some cars - and I have verified this myself.

An update concerning AA and the official .14 EEA fw.

Actually AA works on my car, just not with the standard cable - and aparently a few other new-generation cables. I tried 8 cables in total. Half work - a Pixel 3, a Sony XZ2c or XZ1c one, and two cheaper generics. Another generic fails, as do 2 Baseus 100w cables (with one of these the phone charges very fast from a GaN 65W charger).

Hi all,
I'm facing the exact same problem with Xiaomi 14 und Android 14 (HyperOS 1.0.16.0). My car has USB-C connection and I tried different USB-C to C cables - a Xiaomi Mi9t Pro was working fine but not the new 14. Bluetooth only connection works as well as music playing. I also noticed something weird: Once the cable is connect the loading starts, but nothing else. I switched the setting on the phone from loading only to AA / data transfer and the car tried to connect. During this the phone jumpds back to loading only and the loading animation is shown again - but AA not working.

The cable is quite short just a few cm, so this shouldn't be the issue, also tried both usb c ports in the car. Btw car is a Scode Octavia. Is the only solution really to buy another device (Android Auto wireless adapter??). Can somebody maybe post the cable (on Amazon) that they used so I can potentially give it a try and order another one?

Not sure if this has something to do with the same issue: When establishing a connection to a JBL music box the connection is established but shortly after if switches from disconnected to connected again and only deactivating and activating bluetooth again sometimes solve the problem and finally I can hear music.

Quite frustrated with a new device and so many problems... thx for any help you might offer

Hi, everyone! Ask for assistance! I am trying to use all the functionalities of the MI14Ultra connected to a Toyota RAV4 (model 2024). I can talk and sync the directory from the phone, but I want to use WAZE as well, but it doesn't work.I tried with older phones Mi8,Mi9, Mi10, with them it works perfectly, but with MI14Ultra - no!Is Android Auto the problem, I don't understand?

Reading whole topic it's clearly to me that it's new xiaomi hyper os problem with android auto. Maybe some updates from owners?

currently having this issue as well. Unsure if it's totally related to certain Hyperos builds or whatnot. Poco F3 Alioth works fine on my car with Headunit Reloaded, but F6 peridot does not work at all going through different usb cables. However the F6 works on a AA certified car. I'm not entirely sure what's going on but it is what it is.

Hello everyone,

I'm experiencing a persistent issue with Android Auto on my car (Golf 7) since switching to a Xiaomi 14 running Android 14.

My previous phone, a Xiaomi 11, worked flawlessly, but I can’t get Android Auto to function with the new device. Here are the details:

Android Auto Detection Issue:

When I connect my Xiaomi 14, the car indicates that Android Auto is not installed, even though the app is installed and up-to-date.

When I enable developer mode on my phone, Android Auto attempts to launch, but still fails to detect the app properly.

If I enable USB debugging, Android Auto no longer appears on the car's infotainment screen.

Error 22 with a red screen:

When I turn off developer mode, I immediately receive Error 22 with a red screen on the car's display.

Here are the technical details:

Phone:
Xiaomi 14
Android Version: 14, Security Update: 2024-08-01
Android Auto Version: 12.6.643244-release
Baseband version: MPSS.DE.5.0-CN-Aug 1 2024
Kernel version: 6.1.57-android14-11-gd8b333a26dfd-ab11564698

I have tried multiple USB cables, enabled all permissions for Android Auto, and followed various recommendations found online (uninstalling/reinstalling, clearing cache, etc.), but nothing has worked so far.

If anyone has faced a similar issue with the Xiaomi 14 or Error 22 on Android Auto and has suggestions or solutions, I would greatly appreciate your help.

For more details, you can view the screenshots via this link:

Thank you very much!

I also have issues with the new 14T and Opel Intellilink, but no issues with the older 13T.

Conntecting the 14T via usb Cable or wireless adapter makes no difference. AA is conntected but not responsive. Seems like data transferrate is ultra slow. U can't use it.

Greetings, just to update,
Mine xiaomi 14 with official eu firmware works like a charm, wired and wirelessly with tiguan mk3.
