In Progress Another google play force closing issue! any ideas?

I am running 2.3.30 on my desire s and ever since google play came along i have had this force close error.

I have tried clearing the cache and rebooting but it always FC straight after opening. I have also sent the error to MIUI.

Any ideas?

Good thing is that none of that error points at MIUI. The bad thing is, I don't know what it could be.

You said you clear the Market cache, and thats the only thing I can think of that might be causing this.

Try hold Home -> Click "App Manager" -> Find "Market" -> Click "Force Stop" -> Click "Wipe Cache". Tell me the version of the market that it says on that screen.

Just tried force stop aswell, and just the same.

After a data clear it does try to open and goes to the log in screen before closing.

Can you push files using adb?

i usually just update from the clockworkmod but i can do it from my computer aswell.

I don't actually know what adb is


edit> I do know what adb is ( just done a little reading).

I just updated google playing using an apk file, and its updated but the same thing happens.

Run these commands via adb.

They've been updating for the past 48 hours. Notice the time of my post. There is an ICS/GB version.
