Any way to eliminate status bar icons?

I could have sworn I saw a thread recently with a mod to get rid of status bar icons...buuuuuut now I cannot seem to find it.

Anyone?

It's in the EVO forum so I cannot verify if it works on all phones. I have an EVO and it works great

No problem. I have a clock widget so the status bar clock had to go lol. Also since I keep debugging on all the time I figured it was another good way to free up some room up there.
