Anyone having Mi8 and Mi Mix 2s

Bought two months ago a very good device Mi Mix 2s(64GB). Now a local chain has a campaign of Mi8(64GB) for 299€.
Both devices have very similar specs. Is there any good reason to buy Mi8?

I have Mi8 awesome device like Mix2s. But Mix2s is a premium device with good rom and if you are interested in awesome camera. In Mi8 rom have some childhood illnesses and the camera one click below.

Can't say, now owning a Mi8 for a couple a days and coming from a Mi5s (2016 technique going into 2018/2019 technique) there is not much difference I'm sad to say. I'm guessing this could be the same for you. Perhaps wait a tad longer and get the Mi9?

Hey!
I had a Mix 2S and now I have a Mi 8 EE. The screen on the Mi 8 for me it's better being amoled and front camera placement is faaaar better. In the overall prefer the Mi 8. The only thing that I miss is the stereo speaker.

Have both here.

Camera is identical (same Hardware), also CPU and GPU are identical.

- Mi8 have OLED, Mix 2s LCD Display
- Mix 2s can Qi Charging, Mi 8 not
- Mi 8 has a Notch, Mix 2s doesn't
- Mix 2s Front Camera is on the bottom of the Phone
- Mi 8 has IR-Faceunlock, Mix 2s not
- Mi 8 has Dual GPS, but is not better then the normal GPS from Mix 2s

So i would say, there is no better Phone comparing this 2 Devices. It depents on your needs.

I prefer the Mi 8, because of AMOLED, but missing hardly the Qi Charging
