Resolved Apex/Nova can't add widgets

If I try to use any AOSP based launcher, I can't add any widgets. If I try, I get an error message that settings has force closed.

Any help with this? Not a huge fan of the stock launcher.

Thanks, this worked. Although I used root explorer to move it from /data to /system.
