I think you have a misunderstanding here. You're using the Global App vault that you installed manually. This is not part of our ROM.
Think you're right. Maybe the phone download It automatically with Google backup.
I have same problems with polish. It was in the mi Community app. It startet in polish directly after install from playstore and I had the same experience with another app but I can't remember which app it was. I have lavender with 20.6.18 and live in germany

App Vault is installed as a system app on the Poco F1.
For now I just disabled it from the homescreen.

Yes, POCO Launcher doesn't support the normal App vault we use for all other devices.
