Aqua, Cancro, Hermes, Latte: What Do All These Names Mean?

I went into the ROMs DOWNLOAD section to download a ROM, and found that there were many roms, all with cryptic codenames like armani, ido and HM2014813. So I looked around the forums for a post that told me what these meant, but drew a blank. Searches didn't help.

Strikes me this is something that needs to be in a sticky FAQ post. What ROM should be downloaded for which device?

Also on the ROM download page below Stable ROMS you will find a list of ROMS by device...hope that helps ...

Thanks. I was looking for it before I signed up for an account, and the list of ROMS by device is an image. So it was reduced to a thumbnail, and could not be viewed unless I signed in. As the text seemed to label it as just a changelog, I saw no reason to investigate further.

Now I am logged in, the image displays full size and everything is clear. Annoying!
