Are the meny settings "choppy" even in this release?

It's weird they don't focus more on this as it seems to impact all supported phones
The rest of the system is super snappy. I can scroll past 7 home screens filled with widgets and icons and no slowdown what so ever, but if I go into the settings menu, it slows down to a crawl.

I'm considering going back to a Froyo based MIUI :|

They are on my N1. To me, the gingerbread miui roms all have been like this. Sometimes the main screens lag or stagger on overshoot, but the settings menus have been choppy on every build so far. Other than being mildly annoying, it is really no big deal, lol, they work and all.
