So i just read some news that xiaomi has started remotely disabling phones in some countires and rendering the useless because of their policy. You can check it out on xda. Are xiaomi.eu roms affected by this code in miui rom?

What's there to check? It seems this is done by online activation, probably uses the cellular signal to determine the country. Not our problem.Check this out please.

Our ROMs come with Xiaomi online services, so yes, it's probable.
