Backup From Chinese Rom And Restore To Eu

I haven't tried this yet but will do when I am going to install my sisters phone to eu rom.

Her phone is Redmi Note 3 MTK and I was wondering if we make a backup with miui backup app from chinese stable rom and then flash EU stable rom and restore the apps and data, will it work?

Normal apps and data should but my concern is the system app settings and data.

Anyone tested this so far on any phone?

Yes it works. I suggestivo you male also a backup with mi app miphone in pc, just to be sure.

I have updated from the global beta rom to Eu rom.I had made a backup on the global beta rom with mi backup and restored the apps in the eu rom.Apart from the default google apps that were present in the global beta,all the apps were restored without any issue.I guess in China stable u need to flash gapps too.
